Frosting Topped Sweet Potatoes

Topped with frosting, nuts and cinnamon sugar these are not your grandma’s sweet potatoes.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • Vegetable oil spray
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon (plus more for topping)
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 4 tbsp. Cinnabon® Signature Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 2 tbsp. candied pecans (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Make cinnamon sugar by mixing the two together.
  3. Wash potatoes & allow to dry completely.
  4. Coat potatoes with oil & roll in the cinnamon sugar to coat the outsides.
  5. Bake 1 hour or until tender.
  6. Split the top of the potato with a knife (careful, they’re hot!).
  7. Top each potato with 2 tbsp. frosting, 1 tbsp. candied pecans (optional), ½ tbsp. brown sugar & a sprinkle of cinnamon.

*Nuts are optional and can be left out.
